Heavy on the synths, bass seems flat. They sound OK, better than I would have anticipated. But I'm taking a pass.

what i'm not going to be ok with are the ticket prices...

anyways, peter hook will soon be playing the U St Hall or something covering a neworder album...not playing bass of course... so peter hook fans will have that....

i'm so stoked that new order is playing DC again! looks like the last time they were here was 1993!

also just found out that in July of 83 they played the Ontario Theatre....which has just been bulldozed to make way for luxury apartments.

Technique was my favorite album for a few years...

Thing about it is it has quite a few songs with the Ibiza/balearic sound which would essentially be like doing karaoke...

Electronic's first album is a classic.


I think a live Electronic show would be karaoke... all preprogrammed beats with Marr ocassionally strumming his guitar... wouldn't work very well..

Technique and Substance are my 2 favorite New Order LPs, but as far as "albums" and not compilations go, Technique is a masterpiece.

And Kosmo, the first Electronic LP is as good as Technique. One of my desert island discs.
