I recently been playing the shit out of Los Angeles/Wild Gift and loving them....

Some of the most recent times I've seen them have been some of my favorites. They still sound great. DJ Bonebrake still has the power, Exene and John still harmonize in that really unconventional way. There's a live LP that came out a while ago that isn't very good...my experiences seeing them live have been way, way better.

For the record, "Under the Big Black Sun" is my favorite LP of theirs, and they always play lots of stuff from it.

brooklyn luna sold out in 30 minutes at the most...i got shut out.. wasn't sure i wanted to make the trek

i bought a ticket for the philly show but i'm not sure i'll be able to get away but what the hell....
