Why would she bring a band to a book tour?    8)

Also, I have no idea if it is free or not; but I would assume it costs something.

Re Deafheaven tickets, which supposedly went on sale at noon today. Did anybody succeed? I was on at noon and nothing was ever made available before the site switched to a no tickets available at this time notice.  Were they ever available? Did anybody get one?  Or should I have been part of the Deafheaven fan club?

Not sure if someone already posted this

Pope Francis
9/24  (early show - 9:20 AM)
Congress (haven't been to this venue yet)

Looks like no opener and rumor has it he's only doing new stuff, so no requests please

I'm sure that he'll do plenty of old stuff but it'll be new to most of the audience.
😐 🎶

I'm a big fan of his goth tweets. Will he be reciting any of those?

They wont play the 930 Club.  They are not popular enough.  I cant imagine them playing any DC venue other than Black Cat or Rock and Roll Hotel, for the foreseeable future.  Just my 2 cents!  (but maybe I am wrong)

you are right...just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask
