for the record..hadn't consumed enuf coffee yet...and my spelling sux, well known fact
what's odd is Hutch posted and I was like....who's Milo (decendants??!)and saw it was hosted by Ardamus (and not Milo goes to college fame)
I will say while a lot of posts were about his events, I also remember him joining in on the banter from time to time?
I may be wrong and it's probably been

My dog is Milo, but he doesn't have a whole lot of talent.  He doesn't even like to fetch.

I have the same problem with my dog!
I throw the ball and he's super excited to go get it...but then he won't bring it back to me
goes off to the other side of the yard

I go over and grab it from him and he's super excited to go get it but does the same thing?

Had many dogs over the years and never experienced this

Was looking for a "pet training' tread here...maybe it's time to start

My dog is more interested in playing "keep away" than fetch.

Is it too soon to start occasionally posting my events?

I don't know if running 2-3 hours is an event that most bored(ies) would partake in

our pup will play fetch, and even bring the stick or ball back, as long as there are treats involved.  she doesn't need to get a treat each time, but if she doesn't get something every three or four throw, she'll wander off and lose interest.

yup, maybe we need a pet thread.

these band names . . . killing me.

The one that gets me damn near everytime is Jawbreaker Reunion.

I really hope adding "reunion" to an old bands name doesn't become a thing, it's going to lead to way too many false feelings of joy.

A member of Jawbreaker played a show with Jawbreaker Reunion not too long ago. Or maybe it's yet to happen I'm not sure. Either way, they have at least one member's blessing.

Hutch: DAR does blow.. but I think ultimately your priorities have changed and you are not as interested in live performances....you're more selective... it has to be at the venue you want, for the price you want, and a lot of other factors have to come into line.... this is not the way it was when you were a single young stallion back in the glory days of Space Cowboy concertgoing...

I hope I am not projecting.... Wink

You are right that I am more selective, and I think that's likely the case for most of us as we age.

In my case, I've never been someone who went to tons of shows at any point anyway. (lack of money while in my 20's, living in smaller concert markets, variety of other interests, etc)

But enough of me. These threads are the most boring when they become the most personal, imo.
