If only my A's would hit at a semi-professional level, they'd be well over .500. The pitching has been stellar. Gio is coming into his own. Brett Anderson is becoming an ace. The bullpen is shaky, but Balfour's been good. Unfortunately there's only one of the starting nine hitting over .246 on the season. Terrible.

You can basically say the same about the Nats. I'm actually pretty surprised they are close to .500 with how awful the hitting has been.

Just got back from Bmore. Haven't seen the film from the Bernadina incident. We sat in the upper level in the outfield so we had no idea what happened when Riggleman got tossed. Frickin Nats, blowing their weekend the first night.

He stepped out of the box and made contact - automatic out.

And, as stated previously, eat it 'Nats.

Actually, I usually go to about 10-15 games a year, mid-week and weekends.  And I watch all the rest on television.  My husband and I are going to 3 O's games in 3 different stadiums in one week :)
