Well that's one way of putting it  ;)

Easily the best night of baseball I have seen in a long time.  Just incredible.  Wish I'd been at Camden Yards tonight.

Agreed. I REALLY enjoyed tonight, and I swore off 2011 a week ago.

I went to bed before it all went down (and don't have cable). Which AL  game ended first?

Boston-Baltimore ended 3 minutes or maybe it was 8 before Tampa-New York

the boston score was announced in tampa right before longoria went up to bat ... it was great to have MASN last night in addition to the ESPNs

GREAT night of baseball!  Stayed up way too late watching all the discussions and recaps on ESPN and MLB.  Great to see the Orioles beat the Red Sox after all the crap David Ortiz said about them in July.  HA.

This feels like revenge for 2004 and 2007. It is as if the baseball gods are punishing Red Sox Nation for hubris and arrogance and good times that seemed so good, so good, so good.

Then the earth opened up and swallowed the Sox and their fans. - Dan Shaughnessy

I was at Camden Yards last night.  Watching the Rays comeback during the rain delay was fantastic.  Then to top it off with an O's win / Sawx loss was incredible.  Then 3 minutes later....  Elimination!
Best night for an Orioles fan in years, without a doubt.

Will never forget this from the 2009 Blow Sux-Nats exhibition game:

"LET'S GO RED SOX"

"YOU'RE FROM FAIRFAX!"
