Eno news: Yay! / Dammit!

Yay!

 (From ? via WRNR)
Some of the albums that most influenced the new wave and electronic music worlds will resurface in mid-May when Virgin Records reissues four of Brian Eno??s solo discs. Eno, best known these days for his production work with U2 and others, started his career in Roxy Music before going solo and developing his unique studio and productions techniques, introducing the concept of ??ambient? music. All of Eno??s solo albums will be re-released in batches of four or five at a time. The initial batch will be his first four, more pop-oriented discs: ??Here Come the Warm Jets? (including the classic track ??Baby??s On Fire?), ??Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy),? ??Another Green World? and ??Before & After Science.?

 Dammit!

I've been on an Eno kick lately and had bought several CDs, including all of the above. There's no mention of remastering but you can bet....

According to Virgin, the discs will not be remastered.
