I guess you can attribute some of it to being the summertime.  Usually a Friday 10am sale is not going to work for all the high schoolers.

How is it that when I'm on the site exactly at 10 and I ask for one GA ticket absolutely nothing comes up. Totally gone. Did they really sell out the floor in the pre-sales? WTF? Bite me, TM.
Only one person on this board even got floor in the presale (I'm pretty sure, maybe two but I don't think so....).  ???

send an e-mail to Ted Leonsis.  I'm pretty sure he runs ticketmaster in DC now.

I believe Fatskippy and Driveway both got floors... I could be misremembering

Fatskippy needs to post his "Rules of good Ticket Kungfu" manifesto...

Demand > Supply?  And if you're spending the time specifying which section you want in the drop down menu, you've already lost.

time? It was 2 extra clicks. No the idea that a particular area as large as the floor was completely gone the moment it went on sale is suspect, and fucking annoying. It was the ticket I wanted. I'm not going to spend $71 to be in a seat at a Foos show. Just ain't worth it. Hence -- see ya next time, somwhere else, Foos ...

Hell, I even got tickets for Matador 21 festival last year!  THAT was easier than Foo floor tix.

something ain't right when GA and lower concourse sell out in the 1st five minutes of a presale.  If that is the case and demand is so great, why not add more shows?

Just be patient and wait until the week of the show.  I predict there will be a glut if tickets available from both the scalpers and TM.

I did, some how... After throwing back several pairs in the 400s.  Are GA not considered 'best available' ?  I think I entered floor seating to get them.

Agree with Eros. But I'm still annoyed and disgusted that bands are still out of touch with a hardcore fan base that I do think deserves a little more attention. It's easy to go the paperless route and ensure that hardcore fans (at the very least someone like Bags) gets a fair crack at a really good seat. I'm not saying that I don't approve of Capitalism. I don't care for these charades that make it seem like we are having a fair chance at something that isn't even there. It's pretty clear what's going on here.

some ticketmaster tips:

-have a fast connection (obviously)
-be able to time ticketmaster with time.gov, tickets usually go up for sale 4 to 5 seconds past the hour
-don't refresh the page where you buy the tickets, notice how much longer it takes to load when you do that vs. how quickly the page loaded when you entered from the listing of venues and dates?
-have ticketmaster.ca as a back up on another browser in case the show isn't loading for you
-only 1 of the 2 captcha words is the one you need to type, if you see one with any characters other than letters (a comma, period, upside down letters, etc), that one ain't it

And for the love of god, quit complaining about ticketmaster and different conspiracies, you sound like an idiot.  Notice how many tickets are already on stubhub?  There are a lot of scalpers out there, both professional and amateur.  These people are much better at ticketmaster than you and will beat you to the punch every time unless you practice and see what works and what doesn't work to improve your speed.

Didn't know about the one word capatcha tip.  Thanks for that.

I think the reason a lot of people are angry is not because scalpers are better at working the website than we are, it's that they are often in cahoots with the venue and TM (but in this case not the promoter I'm sure).  Tons of the tickets held by the scalpers never got a chance to go to the public.
