Playlist For Irene
« on: August 25, 2011, 04:14:35 pm »
You knew someone was going to do it. May as well get it started.

"Goodnight Irene" - Leadbelly
"Like A Hurricane" - Neil Young/Roxy Music

Damn bitch has forced a mandatory evacuation. Have to leave sometime after work tomorrow then I lose several other days of work, thanks to the bitch. (It hasn't been officially posted yet but I've got good inside info. Will start tonight at midnight, assuming there are no changes.) Just happy that I have some place to go.

Edit: Evacuation is now official.

Is there a playlist for Isabel (2003) buried here somewhere? Just repost that.

^ Yeah, there is but that takes all the fun out of the game. Same goes for when people list or link up full lists from elsewhere on the net. Spoil sports.

my parents live near atlantic beach, nc, on the water.  they are very frightened and older, and have been crying that they might lose everything they have.  they've never been through an evacuation and have three older cats that could suffer trauma.

totally not in the mood for this.

maybe people from japan will laugh at my parents.

Yes! I KNEW you'd come through with some DK.  ;D

My best to your parents. Hope the bitch dies before she gets any closer.... not that I'm counting on it.

they are saying this thing will forever alter what is known as the outer banks, as in part/some/most might be gone or the entire thing will be separate islands.
