Methinks Jaguar will be happy with most of this new Alcest album.

The black metal vocals are at a minimum and more of a focus is put on dream pop. There are a couple detours into black metal but it is nothing too rough.

Oh, cool. I'll have to check it out. There was only 1 song on his last album that I could tolerate and that one was an instrumental. Gorgeous song but not long enough to justify a purchase considering that the rest irritated me beyond belief.

Thanks, Killsaly for the link!  ;)

I know you live far out now but is there any chance of you coming out for the SVI/Ceremony show next week?

Not likely; however, I do have a big gap of time off coming up then. Then again, if it's in DC, odds are much, much slimmer that I could reasonably make it to the show. A Baltimore show would be a possibility even though I'd be staying even further from the city than where I had been living.

When and where are they playing again? I forgot.

Is he going to the show as well?  Maybe we can get Jake and Kim to play the birthday song...
