anyone else have problems with security words.  I could not for the life of me read them in order to type out correctly.  I was on a pc and wonder if it is a MAC vs. PC issue.

yeah I was on PC ad messed it up the first time.. the second time I wasn't sure if I read it correctly but it went through.. I think you only need to get the first word correct anyways..

I'm in with a freeium ticket, worth the expense IMHO.  Not exactly the strongest of line-ups, lots of weak links on the bill, but it's the one event of the year lots of my fellow boardies are also at so it's all  good.  And I plan to be right in front of hutch all day and will make off with his tumbler when leaving so I can post a picture of it on Pinterest.

oh and thanks Seth and Ticketfly!

keep your hands off my tumbler!

Yes.  I botched the first pair and the second time around i simply guessed.

First word was very clear - 2nd one, not so much.

I didn't get 2 clear words until it was too late.  I don't see the point of making word illegible.

What the hell?  They were already gone at 1200, 1201, 1202, etc?

the free ones probably disappeared quickly.  i got tix with a donation suspecting that those wouldn't go quite as fast (and, you know, i want to support the homeless shelter).

if this festival wasn't free/subsidized, a ticket would cost $100 or more.  giving $10 or $20 really seems like a no-brainer.

thank you seth, 930, and virgin!

you only need one of the two words, but it's not an either/or - one word is a decoy, the other is the required word.  make sure you are providing the correct one (AKA providing only one can be risky, if you choose the wrong one - but usually it's pretty obvious which one is the decoy/unneeded)

so you have a 50/50 shot.  Might as well type out both, if you can read them.

Nothing.

I couldn't read half of the captchas (some were actually halfway out of the box.).  Other times  I was just sent back to the ordering page after entering the captcha.  Eventually I just got "no tickets left."

if the festival cost 100 bucks, i would stay at home. I guess if I cant get lucky on the general sale, then I will be staying home anyways.

Question! Any word on reserved pavilion seats? I'm just wondering for my 59 year old mom since she has a knee replaced and can't sit on the ground so well. For once in a long time, my mom and sister want to attend V-fest with me. I get the feeling that getting three tickets is going to be very tricky.
