I Shot The Serif:
Artists and bands with names that sound like they could be fonts/ typefaces

what a lazy attempt at humor (is that even what they* are aiming for?)

first off, half of those would never be considered as names for fonts.  trent reznor?  big audio dynamite?  atari teenage riot?  please.

second, of the other half that actually sound like they could be fonts - it's because they ALREADY ARE a font:
- Bauhaus
- Rammstein
- Berlin
- Dion
- Blancmange
- Pulp (technically a category/family of fonts)
- Hole
- Rockwell
- Orbital
- Bastille
- Laibach
etc...

what's next?  "list of band that sound like a place: boston, alabama, chicago, berlin, phoenix, beirut, nazareth, ... - look at me!"

My anecdotal experience is that font nazi's are much more fun to be around than grammar nazi's.

I came here to say that The Dead Weather's Sea of Cowards is a fine, fine album.

here's a font you might like...probably make it impossible to read...but who reads anyway?
A font created by your congressional districts.

what table would you sit at...
I'd take 4...but definitely sit on the side furthest away from Chris Martin and hopefully Robert and Patti would be sitting on the opposite corners and would be throwing my pudding at the Moz

the fanboy in me says 1.  however i fear that table would be somber and very serious.

the party boy in me says either 6 or 3.  you know those two tables will be rockin'.

sitting at table 1 will get you pantsed.  sitting at tables 3 or 6 will get you an invite to go smoke a joint behind the gym.

I want to hang with Lizzo.

I had a tough time between 6 and 9, and assumed I'd be on to either one of them after about 10 minutes of 3.  I eventually opted for 6 because of Sir Paul....

3 sounds like an absolute disaster or a freaking fantastic time
I honestly think hanging with the Gallagher brothers would be a bore, but Kanye would be a total wild card

Yep.  3 is a total wild card and FOMO is why I chose it.

6 would be a good time, but I fear we'd all just be asking Sir Paul questions the entire time.

9 is the safest bet and you'd be guaranteed a good time.  I want to hang with Lizzo as much as Damon.

4 would be moody and melancholic, but I could learn a lot.

7 is a Beyonce and Adele love fest, both picking Frank's brain.  I could watch that all day...

8 and 5 were both "meh" to me, but I chose 8 over 5 just in case Plant decided to throw a punch at Jack White, just for being Jack White.  Greta Van Fleet alone wasn't enough to overcome the hope of that.

2 and 1 were the same table for me, and I probably would have chosen 2 over one but for Moz's descension in the last decade. I would have only wanted to ask him about a Smith's reunion, and frankly I'm not sure I want that to happen any longer.

10 I have zero interest.  It's bad enough being the one person at the table who's not in the band, but to be the one person at the table you're not a fanboy of?  Eesh.

the problem with this table 6 is Grohl would never shut up and Homme would never say a word
