Now you can jam with the Grateful Dead in 1972, or just play with the mix if that's more your jam.

Watching the tail end of Taylor Hawkins Tribute and for the Foo’s set they have brought out Josh Freese, the Blink 182 dude, Nandi Bushell the viral drummer girl, and now Rufus Taylor son of Roger Taylor  who with his long blonde hair looks a bit like Taylor.

Highlight of the Queen set was the Eurovision dude Sam Ryder who is living his best life singing “Someone To Love”…

Also, Rush was totally meh…

Hopefully they don’t take the stream down right away, would like to catch the beginning

So is Josh Freese Taylor’s replacement, he’s certainly played with many others, although Rufus is rocking it pretty hard…

Didn’t realize Josh Freese sat in with The Coattail Riders earlier in the day… still a solid choice as a replacement..

Ugh hopefully Paramount+ will put this back up…

Full Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert now on demand at least on Paramount+, not sure about MTV, etc…

People were livid on The Twitter earlier because only the highlight show was up

Got through the rest of the Tribute concert and it’s a great watch, although oddly what’s up doesn’t include the Oasis songs or from the Pretenders set Tattooed   Love Boys.  Sound mix was a little off at times for vocals, but could be expected.  Many were clearly enjoying the event, Lars, Brian Young and the James Gang drummer had huge smiles while playing.

The choice to have Gaz Coombes sing “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” seemed odd, as it didn’t really suit him.  But he nailed “Modern Love”.  Supergrass smashed it and then Mick Quinn announced we wouldn’t see the band again for the foreseeable future.

Great wrap up of the show found here… and as a side note hard to believe people are still carrying about the lack of Eddie Van Halen tribute concert.  The amount of guff Wolf takes from VH fans is ridiculous

Forgot to note that from that article I learned Rufus Taylor is currently drumming with The Darkness, which would partly explain why their singer was doing vocals throughout the concert.  Justin Hawkins of course was great on those songs
