30 seconds to Mars is horrific with RHCP not far behind, but that was worth watching... and Chad Smith is likable.

I just have zero interest in mouse on Mars

dunno if that was on purpose or a subconscious slip, but mouse on mars is a german electronic duo who had their heyday in the late 90's and early 00's that are worth checking out if you're into eclectic german electronica.

agreed.  what a great concept: have a drummer improv a part upon first listen.  i wonder if there are any attempts that got left on the cutting room floor, i.e. the drummer couldn't pull together something decent.  i have to imagine the drummer has right of refusal (aka veto on airing a shitty attempt).

I learned from the Wikipedia that the Guilty bit in Erasure’s “Drama!” was provided by Scottish band the Jesus and Mary Chain, who were recording in the studio next door.

Oasis reunion is status Definitely Maybe with Liam announcing a run of UK dates celebrating the 30th Anniversary for the  album.  Noel has probably sacked his entire management team for allowing Liam to be him to the punch on this one.

Funflation

And that was well before last year's mini inflation crisis (which some people still believe is happening because prices haven't deflated).

Apparently there is a joint record with Liam Gallagher and John Squire in the works to be released next year.. Liam has just declared it the best album since “Revolver”

As someone pointed out

"Joint" might be the operative word here

WTOP article ‘Explosion’ of deer population could lead to more crashes next month, reminded me that there was a band called Exploding White Mice, and I can't imagine them getting away with that name had they formed in the social media era.

You know what's a good album? Sea of Cowards by Dead Weather. That's a good album.
