Robert Griffin III
« on: October 15, 2012, 05:09:59 pm »
Can we talk about this guy for a second? Setting league and franchise records week to week, not only for rookies but for all quarterbacks and now even running backs! Going into the season I didn't have my hopes too high just because he was a rookie and I had questions about the offensive line, but through 6 games I am very VERY impressed and 100% excited about this dudes potential. I can't WAIT to see what he does on the field and I honestly can't recall being able to say that about any player except for maybe Sean Taylor or Darrell Green... Would love to go into NYC and take a win from them this weekend! Get the season started off right in the division!

Agreed. The kid is amazing. Seems everyone is gunning for him so I really hope he does not get more concussions and/or injured.

I'm a Ravens fan who likes to root for all the local teams, and I'm super impressed by him.  He is hardcore.  Happy for my Redskin fan friends that the team is looking up!

If the dude is so good why are the Shanahans trying to kill him?

I can always tell whether the Redskins won or not because when they do, their players are always wearing their jerseys to work on the Monday morning train. We used to do that in high school, nice to see the tradition carries on all the way through to the pros.

Seems to be the only way they can move the ball is the triple option. It's a real shame that Pierre is still out, but why did we bring in Josh Morgan if we aren't going to utilize him? What is this formation with Brandon Banks in the backfield?

Griff seemed to do a pretty good job of getting out of bounds and getting rid of the ball when he had too. I believe he has a QB rating at 100.3 right now as well.... We'll see how he fares against the division!

At the first Walkmen show at the 9:30, Hamilton Leithauser gazed out into the audience and asked "Did RGIII make it in ok?"

I went to see the GZA last night at Howard and chants of "RG3" broke out randomly during the opening act. Pretty awesome.

I was actually pretty impressed, definitely gonna look up his stuff. Unfortunately I didn't know anything about him before the show. He really had the crowd rockin by the end of his set. He got a little political, I thought it was cool, but some people didn't.

Well.  For the first time in maybe a decade + i'm excited about the skins.  The nats getting knocked out and the prospect of no hockey season could have something to do with that.

But RGIII sure seems like the complete package.  Exceeding my expectations x1000.
