Jag, Jag...are you the friend?  ;)

"Maryland -- Counting Crows' "Raining in Baltimore" from August and Everything After
Don't tell anyone, but I think August and Everything After might be my favorite album ever. I remember almost wearing out the plastic on the disc, I played it so often. Baltimore, according to a friend, is the nastiest city in the United States. I've heard good things about it, too, but mostly bad."

They could have used The Jayhawks "Baltimore Sun", "Wichita", or "Nevada, California".

As much as I love D-Plan, how appropriate would Magnetic Fields' 'Washington D.C.' have been!?   :)

I'd pick Dale Watson's "Heaven in Baltimore" and Kiss "Detroit Rock City" over their choices. And nobody screams New York City! like Jon Spencer.

I'm just glad Phantom Planet was not the representative for "California" despite it's brilliant use in the OC.

And I would have preferred The Postal Service "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight" for DC.  It's the only song that's made me miss DC since I left.

Delaware: The DEAD MILKMEN's song Plumb Dumb would've been better.  It's the only somg I know of that mentions Dover.

Dude!  I am so tired of that Oliver guy!  Ryan needs to break him in half and soon.  And say what you will about Anna, Smackie is all over Summer in a heartbeat....but seriously, how funny are Luke and Summer's characters these days?  They're replacing Seth as the big time comedy factor.

 And Haley....yummy.

so true about the summer and luke characters. . . luke used to be a character you didn't like because he was a preppy ass, now he's just pathetic. . albeit funny.

you take summer and i'll take anna. . .

one other thing. . .when is someone gonna change peter gallagher's hair style?  it's gawd-awful.

They're stuggling with the cool hip so-cal dad in casting a clear east coaster in Peter Gallagher.  Hair like that does not make the dad cool.
