Generation Records in NYC is great. It's about a block from Washington Square Park and has a lot of indie and classic punk stuff, plus a lot of live bootlegs. Even better, there are a huge assortment of used live bootlets in the basement, some going for five or six bucks per disc. I dropped about 100 bucks there last weekend, but now have about 15 new discs to check out.
 
 In west Seattle, Easy Street Records has a great selection, plus you can get a kick-ass breakfast there too.

I was clarifying for the benefit of Rhett that if I had discouraged posters it was the taking of cheesy promo posters they hang at bars, not the cool, graphic screen printed ones

And I hadn't bothered to check the links. I was assuming we were talking posters they hang at bars, which you sometimes see bands selling as merch, as well as on their websites.

IKEA provides a cheap and easy solution.
 
 If you want a custom frame, I use a place in Merrifield called Capital Art & Framing.

I frame most of mine on my own. (For artwork and expensive items, I go to places like the one mentioned above). Custom framing can be expensive. The IKEA option is a good one - unfortunately, it's a pain to go to the store "near" me. IKEA also has frames for cd inlets w/ spot for the cd...for those of you that want to frame your cd w/ inlet.
 I go to Michael's for frames. They have metal frames that you put together yourself. Different colors, etc. The tops and sides are sold separately. You can buy the glass there. I found the prices reasonable. You can also buy archival safe products (tape, backing, etc.) there, or at art stores.

I agree that there are great concert posters that deserve to be framed and put up.  Dredj for one made proper prints that they were selling on nice thick stock.  Sure maybe not up in the formal dining room, but the spare bedroom or the basement they are great.  I have some great ones, probably not 25 but I might be there.
