Pushing Daisies Canceled

Oh well another quirky show bites the dust, although IMHO it's been lacking a bit of late in comparison to  last season.

It's going to live on in comic book form with the possibility of being turned into a full length movie.  Sound familiar?

Man, I was just watching this week's episode over the weekend. I wondered how this show is doing...Damn. (I concur that the writer's strike screwed them.)
I love this show. I agree, not as "new" compared to the first season, but still lovely. I adore all of the characters.
It's funny that the creator may go work on "Heroes" which, imo is a big yawner right now.

(Per the article of other cancels: I don't watch Eli b/c it's way to similar to Ally McBeal, which is so 1990s;). Nor do I watch Dirty Sexy Money, and I was surprised when it came back for a second season. Although, I know people who watch it and really like it.)

I didn't hear about it until I read the 11-25-08 edition of the Express. ABC hasn't ruled out bringing it back. However, I'm setting my hopes up real high. It sucks when a show that earns 16 nominations its 1st, albeit a strike shorten season can't get good ratings. Meanwhile, A pathetic remake of a tv classic is given a full season pick-up despite having bad ratings itself. And people wonder why there isn't anything good on TV.

I don't understand how there can be a thread about Pushing Daisies without a LOST thread. There needs to be a sense of order 'round here.
Woof.

I know! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Scrubs and support the show, but I'm also kinda tired of it (where's the shark?). I guess they gained more viewers switching networks and nights. Anyhow, they should just let PD air in the summer to give a proper closure the series.
