I thought this was coming ever since NIVA signed an agreement with a vaccine app provider although can’t remember if that was for bindle

Will be interesting to see how it’s implemented

Different lines for bindle app people?

Need something to do Sunday (10/24) night? We gotcha covered!

As a Friends with Benefits member, we’re inviting you (and a guest) to join
us for a night of classical music at The Anthem as the National Symphony
Orchestra takes the stage with Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony. For the first
show in the NSO concert series at The Anthem, we want to give our Friends a
chance to see something pretty dang unique that we don’t usually have on
our stage. And don’t worry about the formalities of classical music concerts;
NSO at The Anthem is the deconstruction of tradition. So leave the tuxedo
and gowns at home!

To request your ticket(s), just click on the link below and fill out the Google
Form. Please note, the form will only be open until 12:00 PM on Friday 10/22, or until all tickets have been claimed. You will receive an email confirmation before the show with info about picking up your tickets.

Doors for the show will be at 5:30 PM. Show starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are non-transferrable.

Not to get classical music snippy but fuck the NSO. They furloughed all of their musicians -- ALL including their full time chaired ones -- within 2 weeks of COVID. Noseda, himself, took not one cent in salary reduction. Hilarious that the "Nation's symphony" with the natural advantage of the Kennedy Center was so cash-broke poor they had to take that step. The Richmond goddamn Symphony, with one tenth the resources and an average musician salary only 15% less than NSO, managed to keep everyone paid throughout COVID.

The NSO is a joke. Classical music fans in the District should drive up the road to Strathmore and see Marin Alsop lead the BSO instead -- a thoroughly better organization on both musical and governance quality.
