80s music pretty much sucked (minus a few bands) and Nirvana saved us all.
80's music was the best we have ever experienced.  Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Stone Roses,  Colourfield, ABC, New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, Public Image Lmtd. Sugar Cubes,  Duran Duran, U2, Banarama, Sinead Oconnor, Psychedelic Furs, OMD, Run DMC, Guns and Roses, Motley Crue,  Fine Young Canibals, Naked Eyes, Talk Talk, INXS, Bon Jovi, Pop Will Eat Itself, Pixies, Beastie Boys, Erasure, Gene Loves Jezebel, Human League, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Fun Boy 3, etc etc. etc.
NOPE.  Of your list, these are OK.
Cure, Depeche Mode, Stone Roses, New Order, Pixies, Beastie Boys.

The 80s REALLY sucked.  Stop living in the past.

That is funny as there must be 100 bands copying the Cocteau Twins today.  And I don't live in the past.  I think 90's music is the worst.

It's really all been downhill since the Baroque Era, imho.

The Classical Era saved us from the excesses of late Baroque Rococo. (Does this scenario sound familiar?)

Well what ever McCartney & Co do later it's not going to be any more regrettable  then what Sandler just did to Hallelujah.  YIKES

And Bon Jovi's voice is shot and totally ruined what started off a a killer version of "Born To Run".  Eddie Vedder wasn't so hot on vocals either tonight as what ever dude Roger Waters had signing with him.

Reserving judgment on Sir Paul.  He's owed that.  I thought Vedder was okay.  Roger Waters seemed to not understand why he was there.

Somebody needs to explain Bon Jovi to me though.

Wow other than Bruce's opening set, this show is really lame.  Bon Jovi had the audience singing all the notes he can't hit anymore.

Watching The Who makes me wish Pete Townshend would tour solo, his voice is just in much better than shape Roger's at this point.
