Some pretty dubious "influential" albums on there. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah? Bloc Party?

Plus, no qualifier for "I have the album but I think it stinks". </hipsterdoofus>

I love I am Kloot - Gods and Monsters as much as the next person, but I do not see how it (just one example, I found a few others) is one of the top 100 influential albums.

Also, I have over 3000 albums, and only own 21 of the top 100 most influential? Damn.

one of the more stupid lists I have seen...

so limited...one jazz album.. not one international album...

i , i think, got 78 of them in one form or another....but so many of these haven't influenced much of anything...

35.  Yay.

My "rarest" are not really rare at all: Ride, My Bloody Valentine and the Stooges.

As Walkie pointed out in his own words, influential is as subjective as any other generic (good/top/greatst/etc) descriptor.  It is all in the eyes of the beholder.  The site is good for amusement purposes though.

I got 61 percent.  There a bunch of very good albums on the list but it is way too male dominated...of the ones I am misssing I should probably get the peru ubu, dexys and donovan.

It's a list of rock albums and most rock artists are male.
