Not sure if they count, tho.

Vigil is what they recorded under.  The record label made them change it.  They are definitely from Maryland but I don't know where in Maryland but close enough in any case.

these bands together have sold maybe what - 25k albums?  by atomicfront's logic, they're unpopular and they suck.

actually, take out Beach House from atomicfront's list and the same could be said.  a'front likes sucky music!

the greatest musical "product" from Baltimore has to be Billie Holiday...unless i'm wrong i think we're coming up on the centennial of her birth..

I have seen 7 bands on this list.  I am sure Wye Oak has sold more than 25k copies of albums. And I hope Celebration has as well as they were on 4AD.
