The Lumineers = Bug Light... tasteless, insipid, consumed in great quantities by the bros.

Nick Cave tastes like a skunk?

Do you know that personally, or did his wife tell you.

Nick Cave is the Heineken of rock.

I was actually thinking that Wilco are more like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

...very popular but not with the American Idol/mainstream crowd. They once were considered edgy, now they're more of a classic. But still, their quality can't be denied.

Or you could go with Wilco Tango Foxtrot from Lagunitas.

The mediocre rating for the beer matches the band.

yes yes we know its all about the ratings for you man... props for being able to look it up!  ;D

i'm not passing judgment on the beer or band.. just think their place in the grand scheme is being perceived as a solid meat and potatoes rock band a cut above most of the popular rock bands... sort of like yuengling is a beer a cut above the bud/miller/coors popular beer....

Fair enough. I actually tend to agree with your assessment.

Though I don't listen to PJ or drunk Yuengling.  ;)

The mediocre rating for the beer matches the band.
