I don't have the exact numbers, but the Cards were at bat for 8 minutes in the first 2 innings and the Sox were up for about 32 minutes or something. Insane. Was not expecting the Cards to get throttled like that in the first game. Looking forward to see how they respond.

Well, the Red Sox found their bats, I suppose.  That catch by Beltran was really amazing, even if he did mess himself up doing it.

The announcers were going on about how they squeezed as many seats as they could into the place...like that was a good thing for the fans or something. They were also carrying on about Pearl Jam, so that's more evidence of double digit IQ's at work.

I've been to Fenway.  The seats are tiiiiiight.  I don't know how most of America fits into them!

All the fat minorities are at the basketball games. All the fat suburbanites are at hockey and football games. Leaving the Ben Affleck clones to populate Fenway. So it all works out.

I've been to Fenway.  The seats are tiiiiiight.  I don't know how most of America fits into them!
