I can't believe Nancy won the Great British Baking Show.  Richard was clearly superior, he was just a little off his game in the final bake.

Merrrr House Of Cards was alright. Bummed out about Rachel. FUCKING DOUG. He looks like a fucking bird too! A BIRD!

I started watching Brain Games. It's cool? It's more.... I don't think it's prestige television. It's cool though. Fun. Idk. Peaky Blinders time!

I may never be able to hear Tainted Love again the same way after this week's Fortitude....  And that David Lynch vibe is definitely there in this one

Yep, I didn't pick up on it much earlier in the season but this is full on Lynchesque.

What in holy hell did I watch?

This show is seriously going next level right now.

Watched 5 episodes of Peaky Blinders. I'm in. Although, am I the only one who thinks each episode FEELS like its an hour and a half long? I feel like they cram so much into each episode and some parts seem to drag on forever. Can't tell if that's a good or bad thing. I'm enjoying it though! Love the music in it.

I *hate* this show with a passion of a thousand suns. The only thing I hate more than this show is myself for watching the first ten episodes on multiple recommendations before throwing in the towel. I could feel my brain atrophy.

I am obsessed with this show! If this is sarcastic, sorry.

Not at all.  I loved that show too.  I was really pulling for Martha - she was adorable.  But I preferred Richard in the finals -- Dorky blue collar guy who has a hidden talent for whipping up schichtorte and viennoiserie.  It was a great story.  Nancy was okay, but she just seemed like one of those people who excels at absolutely everything she does.

So for some reason I feel the need to list some of the great shows I've been digging in the last year of cutting the cord from cable provider
still needed to pay for Hulu and Netflix (well...I share that one) and shows on Amazon Prime or pay for

Hell on Wheels (although this season wasn't that great)
Fortitude
Orphan Black
Broad City
Blackish
House of Cards
Californication
Wrong Mens
Archer
Modern Family
Daily Show/Cobert
Peaky Blinders
Orange is the new black
True Detective
Transparent

High Maintenance (via Vimeo)

So fuck cable providers...I don't care about sports either
and network TV really is lacking too
