Halt And Catch Fire got renewed for a third season.  :o

It's still near miraculous the uptick in quality between the first season and second.

the first episode of Homeland was ok - except for the hacking scenes - oh were they terrible.  they need to learn from Mr. Robot.

Virtually all depictions of hacking are ludicrous, to be fair.

Hollywood does not understand hacking, or tech in general really.

My favorite is from the first link:
Quote
#8. NCIS -- Two People Sharing a Keyboard

Let's assume you know absolutely nothing about computers. Let's say you've never even touched one, but only know them based on what others have relayed to you second-hand. You would still find this scene impossibly stupid.

So it's the navy cop show NCIS, and they're under a hacker attack!

The hot goth chick starts hammering away at her keyboard as dozens of windows erupt on her screen, looking like she's trying to close all of the porn popups before her mom walks in and catches her.

Another agent enters the lab, and something so stupid happens that I can't even understand how the actors didn't put a stop to it in mid-shoot: Both people start feverishly typing on the same keyboard.

One character takes all of the letters from G to the left. And the other from H to the right. I'm guessing that they just worked so well together that he just knew when she needed him to hit the A; and she just felt it when he needed to hit Enter? Who got the space bar? As fast as they were hammering that keyboard, it would have had the same exact effect if one of them had just started slamming their entire palm across it and screaming like a frightened chimp.

Man, we are off to a fucking horrible start here -- what can we expect from an industry that doesn't understand how keyboards work despite using them on a daily basis to type the scripts?

Show Me a Hero was great until the most recent one I watched. Maybe it gets better in the last few episodes, but the teenager getting pregnant, her boyfriend then getting arrested. The woman on crack..I mean who is going to get shot? The old lady? The latino's kids? It's turning into Crash (which sucked).

Oh well.

This started out great but just devolved into complete stereotype Paul Haggis nonsense. Awful.

I fucking loved Cracked. They have some seriously hilarious writers on there. Just when I think I've read them all they have the "classics" on the right side. So good.

I also love Cracked.  I read it everyday, listen to their podcasts, and watch their videos.

I love how they revitalized that brand.

Good for them. I used to enjoy reading their stuff more than Mad when I was a kid. Always thought "Oh man, Mad is going to kill Cracked with their TV show." lol.

Any opinions on Jessica Jones?

One episode in for me...first episode wasn't great, but I'm willing to give it a few more episodes.

The lead actress is pretty. I always confuse her with the girl from Masters of Sex.

It's been a hilarious campy ride, but it's jumping the shark so badly.

I feel the same way. Terrance Winter. That's what I keep saying to myself.

Burned through the first 10 episodes last week. Super captivating, super stressful TV lol. I thought Daredevil was hands down my favorite show of the year, but man, as Jessica Jones goes on it really starts firing on all cylinders. Excited to finish it up and see how it is. It also leads me to want to see more Marvel TV shows.

I've had an odd thing for this actress since I saw her on Breaking Bad.
