Interesting cliffhanger in the season finale.

You're referring to every show we've talked about in this thread, right?

Anyone else watching Vice-Principles on HBO? Danny McBride is playing that same character
Was kinda of excited and watched 20 mins and had the same opinion you had above and really couldn't watch anymore of it

Loved Vice Principals. I think it's hilarious and dark and had some really fun twists. Danny McBride does play a good jerk...I'm OK with that. But this was even better than Eastbound and Down.
My friend told me to stick with it and I have and I think it's hilarious. It's the first time I've liked McBride since season 1 of Eastbound & Down. Also, I LOVE the episode he directed. So many great/fun shots, I believe it was "The Field Trip". I think McBride is great when people are knocking him down a peg and the other VP [I forget his name] is great at keeping McBride's presence in check on screen as well as the Gamby character.

does tonight's vice-presidential debate count as prestige television?

i assume that it does, given that it is coming to us from the den of luxury that is Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.

Still fuck no, but interesting to know Kaine has homefield advantage for anyone gambling on it.

What say we all just agree to stream Babadook instead, then compare notes tomorrow?

Instead of the VP debate, we'll be watching the dean of long wood tonight....the Weiner dvd.

Last year I said I was amazed how Halt and Catch Fire went from being rather meh in season 1 to actually really good in season 2 and how uncommon of a transformation that is. Similarly as rare is its progression in season 3 to possibly the best written show currently on television. They set out to be some computer-successor to Mad Men and it sure looked like a ridiculous goal 2 seasons ago but they're pretty much there now.

I will be bitterly, bitterly upset if next week's two hour season finale turns up to be a series finale.

^^ I will be bitterly angry if H&CF doesn't get a fourth season (ratings be damned). The second half of season 3 has been bravo performances every single night.

Recently got into People Just Do Nothing, it's on BBC. Mockumentary style show following DJs/MCs who run a pirate radio station in the UK. Pretty funny, although some relationship stuff between the characters is weird.

Getting excited for Black Mirror!!!
