Adolescence on Netflix is AMAZING.

co-signed and even more amazing when you watch the making of the series... there will be some awards for that series

wow one of my predications came true!

although i will admit that when the director won the first award for the series, i was like what show is that and then it dawned on me.. and it was a year ago when it aired, likely a worthy re-watch.

a total of six emmy's and two creative emmy's

Adolescence dominating that category, Hannah Einbender winning in general (and then going "Go Birds, fuck ICE, free Palestine"), and Jeff Hiller forcing people to realize Somebody Somewhere was a thing that existed that they missed were my Emmy highlights.

I love Somebody Somewhere, not sure why it didn't catch on

Jeff Hiller was an integral part of why that show was so great

The White Lotus and The Bear got snuffed pretty hard too

Its a very quiet show about trauma with a lot of LGBT elements and no traditionally attractive people. I get why it wasn't popular, but it was GREAT and one of the few heartwarming things in the Prestige Television world.

The Bear has fallen off a cliff. I loved this most recent season of White Lotus. It would've been my Drama winner but whatever, they aren't called the Julian Awards.

Sorry if this confirms I'm a dick, but I hated that show.

I hate the Bear as well, so I can hate shows with one or two somewhat attractive straight people too.

Hacks is also highly overrated.

I did love Adolescence, love Slow Horses, and  like but not love White Lotus and Only Murders. So I don't hate on everything.

Exact opposite of me. Love The Bear, Only Murders and Hacks.  I will assume I will hate the shows you do recommend.

in agreement on this.  not sure why any of these high caliber show are getting shade.  I think they are being innovative, funny and like nothing that preceded it

The Bear was excellent but kinda fell off a cliff. Only Murders is fine but not really awards worthy. Hacks is one of my favorite things on TV.
