Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom need no introduction. You already know of their awesomeness behind the decks and forthcoming release on Switch??s Dubsided label. You already know about Bmore Club Ambassador-At-Large Blaqstarr and his production work for MIA and originals that make you throw your hands up, thumbs down. You are well aware of the fantastical qualities of Gavin Holland and his Nouveau Riche party and the magnificent powers of Spiggy, resident at Sleaze, the salacious party that is making Americans love/fear Techno again?

BUT, did you know Blisspop is going until 3:00 a.m. in the mfing morning on a weekday this Thursday? Holiday weekend! AND, we??re celebrating Dave Nada??s birthday! AND, we have some special things in store for August. See you on Thursday!

Dave Nada consistently proves to be one of the most electrifying and effective DJ's around. Recently acquired by AM Only, Nada joins an impressive roster including everyone from the MSTRKRFT to Tiesto. Even in a time of declining record sales, Dave Nada's regular releases on T&A (label of Tittsworth & DJ Ayres, of The Rub) rapidly sell out.

Matt Nordstrom is responsible for production of the highest caliber. His studio work includes longstanding efforts with Grammy Award-winning, internationally chart-topping, Global Underground artists. Having held numerous residencies in the DC area, he is also synonymous with razor tight mixing and impeccable selection.

The two join forces as NADASTROM, forming the pinnacle of production and DJ'ing. Switch (XLR8R's artist of the year and M.I.A.'s album producer) quickly invited the duo to join the legendary imprint Dubsided for a fast-approaching record release. Nadastrom tracks are trainspotted by countless DJ's (Diplo, Drop The Lime, A-trak, to name a few) and their collaborative efforts include work with Nina Sky, Pitbull, Stretch Armstrong, Kid Sister, Tittsworth, Blaqstarr and more.

 SPECIAL HOST: BLAQSTARR

Blaqstarr was making a name for himself DJing teen parties until his brother brought home some beatmaking equipment. Before he even turned 18, his gunshot-based club song ??Tote It? had hit radio rotation, and he followed it??s success by penning massive singles for local artists like DOG (??Ryda Girl?) and Young Leek (??Jiggle It?), both of which were buoyed by his unique voice, which he says is influenced equally by John Legend and Bob Marley. Consummate tastemaker Diplo released an EP of Blaqstarr tracks on his Mad Decent label, and MIA trekked down to his studio for her sophomore album. ??We pulled it from the dirt and just turned it into, like, the Empire State building,? he says of the collaboration with Ms Arulpragasam. ??It??s in a different lane, but still with the Baltimore swagger in it.?
