I think Arcade Fire and Muse charge a lot more than 150k to play.  If they play huge sports arenas for big bucks they would require more money.

It would be cool to have Matt &  Kim or Andrew Bird as your wedding band.  Santigold would be awesome but 40k is a bit much..

Whatever happened to hiring a string quartet? Jimmy's Chicken Shack DJing a wedding makes me weep for America.

I get it ...you hate bands that are really great.  You probably hate U2 and the Beatles as well.
