Favorite New Band of 2006

 Other than that, that's it.  Hip-hop's in a drought, R&B's sucked for a while (Sade, where arrrrrrrrreee you?), and other than some songs here and there rock sucks as well.  Sad ain't it??

 birdmonster (hands down!) - the fact that 2 of the guys are UCSB graduates doesnt hurt at all either

Try Corrinne Bailey Rae. Though it won't make my top 10 of the year list, it was a good debut. Also the Van Hunt album was good.
