Do we have school shootings daily now?  So sad.

you know i was just going to post about sandy hook but then deleted it from my "Friend who didnt let me know about him getting married" post... the reason i was going to post was because it was Ratbastards disgusting comments in the wake of sandy hook that should have seen him banned.

For the sake of both mine and eddie's sanity, as we just don't have the time to police this forum with a fine tooth comb, please consider the over all tone of this forum when posting.  What might not seem inflammatory to one person could be seen as inflammatory by another.  We are both loathe to use the quick fix, but as recent history shows are more inclined to.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/11/worst-movies-2014-rotten-tomatoes_n_6303658.html

The worst movie of the year, according to Rotten Tomatoes and it's 2% score, is Nicolas Cage's version of Left Behind.  I actually want to see this.  I love Cage and his overreactions, and this movie is guaranteed to have plenty of them.

He also made the list with Rage (14%).  I saw that one earlier this year on Netflix.  RT has it listed as being in (limited) theaters on July 11 and on DVD by August 12.

Hey Ratbastard do you have anything disparaging to say about Tamir Rice?

Was he a criminal that deserved to be gunned down in the streets for his crimes?

Or was he a little kid playing with a toy gun (like a lot of little kids do) and was killed by a trigger happy cop who did not even give Tamir a second to react to him and his partner?

There are many more than just the two options you offered.  I'll just leave it at that.

I'm hanging out in lower Manhattan this weekend. I've seen - no joke - about a thousand NYPD this morning. Just hanging out on corners in groups of a hundred or so. Should be a fun day.

Wow.  Screw Uber.  I am glad I have never used them, and never will.

I don't know...the Syndey thing sounds callous and capitalist
but it's just a computer doing a supply and demand algorithm

In the US they already waive surge pricing during emergencies

I've taken UBER about 50 times in the last three years and I would say WITHOUT A DOUBT that the service is 100% better than DC and VA cabs, maybe even 500% better
the fares are fair if not cheaper, the drivers are much nicer, the vehicles are way better
and now thanks to GPS, people don't really need to know how to get places....that was the value of a veteran cabbie
Can't tell you how many times I got in a stinky cab in DC and he way over charged me and didn't know where he was going
