Ren and Stimpy reboot... apparently without John K involved..

So it'll likely suck.

how is that even possible?  it's like saying "NIN, without trent reznor".

I did here this: Billy West who voice of both is expected to return along with some of the writers.

also related, TIL : Reznor recorded the band's debut album, Pretty Hate Machine (1989), while working overnight as a janitor at a Cleveland recording studio

I saw the words, "The Dead Milkmen" . . . and I came, here, to comment on it.  Their new bass player, is the weirdest replacement bassist because he is so weird and so fucking awesome at the same time.  I love him.   Like brother love.  Like hardcore DM love.  Listening to this song as I type this, then replaying it, and yes I can say that I really am liking it and now I am being transporting back in time to a place when all I listened to was a heavy replay of all things DM.

Thanks to the mighty Kosmo, who I follow your posts on twitter, for this!!!  I remember the good ole days when NKOTB, I think, and I would talk about Dead Milkmen and side projects and send obscure music to each other that we came across.  Now, I am just lazy.  And work all the time.

Good article on the explosion in Lebanon
https://graphics.reuters.com/LEBANON-SECURITY/BLAST/yzdpxnmqbpx/

How powerful was the Beirut blast?
Experts estimate the massive warehouse explosion that sent a devastating blast wave across Beirut could be one of the strongest non-nuclear explosions ever recorded

Pat Finnerty a Philly based musician who recently gained some notoriety for doing rooftop shows recently, was doing a 24 hour Grohlaton in order to persuade Dave to join on one of his live streams.  9 hours in and word got to Grohl who joined him for a chat, showing just now awesome Dave is..  Not sure what happened in the preceding hours but at one point Jon Wurster showed up..

Anyways here the videos of Pat and Dave chatting...  headphones on as the language is a bit salty

This was fun, I saw some early, and then part of the Wurster portion and then tuned off, was a happy surprise to see the full results yesterday.

So did he just ramble with various people leading up to Grohl stopping by?

I was watching some of the videos he did with his band playing on his roof and his neighbor who is the Dr. Dog keyboardist..

Far to good of a story not to get some press coverage

How a ‘F-cking Nobody’ From Philly Got Dave Grohl to Jam With Him on Instagram Live
Musician Pat Finnerty staged a virtual “Grohl-A-Thon” in an attempt to persuade the Foo Fighter to sing on a cover of “Money for Nothing”

I've never cared about a single story less than I care about Dave washed-as-hell Grohl showing up on some clown's Zoom meeting. Who gives a shit? Neither of them have put anything good out in 15+ years.

Foo Fighters Wasted Light is good...came out in 2011....

Grohl’s heart is in the right place

I mean just read his recent statement on the passing of Trini Lopez...100% from the heart... Talk about washed up I doubt most people knew who Trini was much less that he was still alive...
