This might be the biggest pile of horseshit ever…

I just got a speeding ticket in the mail…from Germany. Apparently, I was caught going 56 in a 50. Which is the equivalent of going 34.8 mph in a 31.1 mph zone.

I can either pay it with a bank transfer, cash in Euros in the mail, or credit card (but I have to mail them my credit card number and security code, there is no online payment.)

The address to mail it to is in a city named “Bad Tolz.”

I have not been to a show in a long time.  I really want to just randomly pick something in DC, this week, to go see. Something anything, just to make me feel good in the negative bubbles we find ourselves in.

Mountain Goats Sunday in Baltimre.

Unless your family is already planning your next BYOB Germany trip, I'd say, don't pay it.

thankfully we don't have a royal family thread.

But I did find this kind of facinating

“It is little known by the British people that the blood of Mohammed flows in the veins of the queen."

So reads a letter - https://www.upi.com/.../MOSLEMS-IN.../4199529300800/ - written by genealogist Harold B. Brooks-Baker to Margaret Thatcher in 1986. Brooks-Baker was the publishing director of Burke's Peerage, Britain's leading genealogical guide to the Royal Family, who claimed—very plausibly—that the Queen was a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad by way of his daughter Fatima and her son, Hasan ibn Ali. This graphic (courtesy of The Times and The Sunday Times) details the lineage. The link was Zaida of Seville, a Muslim princess who converted to Christianity and became the concubine (and later the wife, possibly) of King Alfonso VI of Castile.

Misinformation with a dose of bogus Doctor names...

read this thread about a study being touted as signed by 400 doctors regarding the dangers of the Covid-19 vaccine

https://twitter.com/KDenkWrites/status/1568608115574145025?s=20&t=FPUMgg8GUFMgveg13TTbrA

TLDR here are some of the "Doctors" how singed this study... (checks notes)

Dr. Ivor Mectin, Dr. Biggus Dickus, Dr. Blow Jobs, Dr. Aluv Disis Boolshet and Dr. Istirfry Yourcat

seems like Space has been moonlighting on creating bogus medical studies..
