Great Albums of 1979

Great from start to finish, even though it doesn't include arguably the best song Jackson released in '79

I prefer this:

I can't imagine why you thought his '02 show at the Club sucked.  The opener was a little hard to handle with her endless demands for reparations, but I thought LKJ and the Dennis Bovell band were great.

You beat me to it. I was going to start a parody thread, however, titled "Great albums about 1979".

I worked at a swimming pool in Germantown, MD in the summer of '85.  For some reason, this was the only cassette we had to listen to for just about the entire summer.  We played it a LOT.  In mid-August, somebody left a copy of Upstairs at Eric's behind, so our music options doubled for the last couple of weeks.

Odd that a project released in 1979 would be called the #1 album of the 80s.  Says a lot about the actual 80s music... :)
