What is everyone's thoughts on what they'd like to see? A retrospective look back, maybe my 25 greatest posts? A one-day revival of Julian's America where I review all the regular boardies? Another kickass parade thread?

I like this idea but considering I'm probably going to hit it by the end of the week, it could be difficult to time it with an already-scheduled 10k the same day. I mean, I could run 10k by myself but that's not really a race, technically.

Right, but it would be difficult under any circumstances to time a race to the same day as your post.  We could do it in a few weeks, and just call it a celebration of the milestone.

Now, this is the first reasonable idea I've heard all day. You're in charge of coming up with a course in the metro DC area, and I'll start working on brand recognition for it.

do my eyes deceive me, or are you less than 40% on your way to hitting 10K posts?  i'm all for advance planning, but isn't this just a tad too early?

Let's say you work from January 1st to May 15th for a company and make $100,000 during that time. Then, you start a new job and from May 16th to the end of the year, you make $150,000 more. When you tell the IRS how much money you made that year, how do you think they'll respond if you put $150,000 on the form?
