For the opportunity mI'm excited bringing  my mom she wants a book for my bro for years he got those postcards in his mohawk and moshing days... the flies and rats too are from the old club...only thing is we were shut out 6 minutes after 9 this am for the first night early slots which i was hoping to catch some of you....any chance we can trade with people..i got 8 pm on Wed. And is the first night different than the others other than you loons will be there?

Also in the late 80s (perhaps the same day), I had an opportunity to meet Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff. They were just a few feet away but I declined. I was working in the headquarters for Waxie Maxies and they were dragged in to meet an account. They clearly didn't want to be there; both of them took seats at a table and put their heads down. I really wasn't a fan anyway so I let them be. But instead of being entitled punks, I just saw them as two very tired up-and-comers who really just wanted some sleep. They were still at the stage in their careers when their label bosses told them when and where to piss.
