Drinking yet?

why, yes . . . heading for the second one soon.  still snowing good.  we think, we got about 30-32 inches here, out in the woods of white stillness.  some guy in our neighborhood is flying around on his four wheeler with a front blade.  look at him go.  he done did, our driveway and most of the gravel road I live on.  nice.

Officials of the National Weather Service confirmed Saturday night that the storm had deposited 29.2 inches at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport ? making it the worst winter storm on record for the Baltimore area.

By 6:30 the city had at least 24 inches of snow, Wardlaw said.

Officials will decide on Sunday whether county and city government offices will open Monday.

Apparently they screwed up the measuring at DCA. Time for a redo.

18 inches here in SW DC. I had to measure over the span of a couple of blocks and multiple times due to snow drifts.

Ugh - really?  I thought Tuesday was gonna be 40+ and rain.

As far as schools go I'm curious what the universities will do since many students are stuck at home (many out of state).

As far as work goes.....I hope the Feds are either closed or allow unscheduled telework as my company follows their lead.

Sometime after Wed. for Fairfax County. After Wednesday they will have enough snow days in the bank to be able to apply for the state waiver to start school a week early next year.

No, not really. 40+ with a chance of rain sounds right.

Are you in Fairfax? I thought you were in Arlington?
