I am not soliciting a conversation about cell phone ecosystems. Phones are like religion or politics: no one has ever convinced anyone to change their opinion about them by arguing on the internet.

That said: has anyone had any issues in the last two months viewing the forum. The background (the blue columns and black  basically) seem to be layered on top of the site itself and none of the text is readable. I believe this to be a JavaScript issue because if I turn JavaScript off in my browser settings, I can see an all white version of the site. Very strange.

Here's what it looks like:

It'll look like this for a few weeks straight (with java on) then revert to normal for a few weeks for no rhyme or reason. Been going on around three months.

No I don't because I use Verizon, which is the best carrier and anyone who uses something else is a plebe.

Browser choice aside, shouldn't a commercial website work on all the major browsers? This doesn't just happen on the forum, it happens on the main 930 page as well. I cannot buy tickets from my phone. I would think Seth would want to know this.

If you're trying to buy tickets on 930.com, you're doing it wrong.

+1 on trying a new browser.  website looks fine on my phone using chrome.

or try that ;wap2 link that kosmo posted.  strips the website down to text-only, essentially.  relive your lynx days!!!

my mobile complaint about the forum is that it's fixed width.  i need to turn my phone in landscape to get everything to fit, and even then font is really small.

portrait mode = unreadable:

so you have to zoom in, and you only get part of the text, requiring that you scroll side to side to read a line:

if you turn to landscape, and zoom in, it's almost readable...

i typically zoom in more to get the post only (cutting off the boardee's name on the left), i've gotten pretty good at identifying who writes what ;D

all this could be solved with a little html that makes the tables on this page variable width, not fixed...

THANKS OBAMA.

I do not have Julian's problem, of course I don't use Safari either.  And no, I'm not on Verizon either.

I do share sweetcell's concern, having to zoom in to read the board, and wap2 is a poor fix in 2017.

I have feelings people...
my poor jujitsu on getting ticket is a disability (much like my spelling) and should be a protected class
