I see where this is going…

My life is an open book or messages on the 930 forum

I think you had tickets to Sonic Youth, but you didn't make it. That's my guess.

Brilliant

They were going to open for Pearl Jam at MPP … I had tickets but someone very close to the band died and they didn’t go on.. Pearl Jam went on and killed it

Hats off

That Wilco/Sonic Youth double bill from 2003 seems like a natural hutch show...

Except I hated Yankee Hotel Foxtrot or whatever and was/am very resentful of what happened with Jay Bennett..I didn’t go see them again until the late 00s at Wolftrap…

Also I was poor… just back from Argentina…not sure what I was doing with my life etc still not sure!

I remember being very underwhelmed, so you didn't miss much... Also, DAR'd!

Ahh I think I was thinking of the Thurston Moore show. I can't take credit for the victory.

I don’t think so but it’s possible

If I saw Sonic Youth more likely it could have been at an HFS Fest or Tibetan Freedom Fest but I don’t think I did…

I agree as Buddy passed away before most of us were born… but, I also think this a red herring

I saw Los Ratones Paranoicos an Argentine stonesy band at the State Theatre along with about 50 people (embarrassing turn out but they played as if their lives depended on it)

Even got to hang out backstage (my only time backstage there in like 50 shows) and talk about Chuck Berry with Sarco (guitarist)

That was a fantastic night….

Ok if someone on this board saw Buddy holly live in the flesh whether it was at a concert or pumping gas on Route 66 we need to hear ALL about it STAT and I couldn’t give a fuck about your age

Dude was so mega talented it’s sick and twisted he died so young

I guess it is possible someone on the board could've seen Buddy Holly since last concert was in 1959.  It wasn't me....  I always wondered how he would have grown/changed musically over the years, not that he needed too.

If you can guess in one try which two on this list I have seen, I promise I won't leer at you the next show we mutually attend. Hint: Buddy Holly is not one of the two.
