Songs not to play at your wedding
« on: June 01, 2017, 01:53:28 pm »
sounds like a great topic
find the ultimate list of songs that are most often banned from wedding receptions.
but inspired by Nate  https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/help-us-find-the-wedding-songs-no-couple-wants-to-hear/?src=obsidebar=sb_1

survey can only be filled out by DJ's that have played 5 weddings...kozmo, DFA and maybe the director can fit that bill?  :)

I'll start it off:

1. Too drunk to fuck
2. O.P.P.
3. Just What I Needed

Anything by Jack White, White Stripes, or Raccoontours.

Also, no Ween.

Actually, great wedding song right here, right around the seven minute mark.

This is why none of you were asked to DJ my wedding.

Also required at Smackie's wedding:

Social D's "Ball and Chain"
New Order's "Age of Consent"
And who ever the hell sang "Stacy's Mom"

Thanks.

Also, Peaches "Fuck the Pain Away"
Banjo and Sullivan "Honeymoon Song" or basically anything from that album.

Beautiful Song.

I will walk out of your wedding reception if I hear the Electric Slide.  Guaranteed.

To be honest, I would laugh so hard if I heard this at a wedding.
