CD Warehouse in Georgetown closed, frozen yogurt moving
« on: July 10, 2008, 09:24:00 am »
I never quite figured out how this little shop with no apparent specialty stayed open as long as it did in such a high-rent district, but it took the tidal wave of the current frozen yogurt craze to push them out, apparently.

I'm a proponent of the froyo. My first love is ice cream, but we're talking 1,000+ calories and 50+ grams of fat all up in there. Froyo, alternatively, is substantially lower in both regards while retaining the appeal and aesthetic of its more fattening cousin.

yes, but can you download frozen yogurt, and taste leaked versions of new flavours that have not hit the scoop yet?

i like gelato a lot. but it never crosses my mind to go out in search of it. it's just one of those things i see and think 'oh yeah, that'd be good.'

also relaxer, that is a good point. i'm an ice cream fan... mayhaps i need to look at converting to the froyo camp.

I used to stop by this store all the time when Smash Records was still in Georgetown.  I'd go to Smash for the old/rare stuff and CD Warehouse for newer stuff.  Fun times.

Also, TCBY was the shit back in the day, esp. after my Little League games in the hot Chicago summers.

Thank you. Foolishly, I have been quick to dismiss the comments submitted by individuals with whom I may disagree. I now opt to strive for a degree of elegance in my messages. Ms. P's use of 'mayhaps' appealed greatly to this side of my persona.
