At first glance, I saw the Mountain Goats and Apples in Stereo at 9:30, OK Go and Death Cab at the Pageant in St Louis, and The Who at Verizon (ugh!).

We considered going to Wilco on the first day of summer, June 21, 2007. It's probably a good thing we didn't, because the water broke sometime in that night's sleep and our daughter was born at home the next evening.

Just at a quick glance: that Manu Chao/Thievery/ESL bill, Virgin Fest (still have a free 930 ticket voucher from it in my desk at work), Delores O'Riordan. Went to Muse/Cold War Kids and The National with Miss Pretentious.

Remember having tickets to Silverchair but something happened (either they cancelled or I did).

Funny thing about the OAR show. My husband and I had just bought our house (great timing) and were living around the corner in an apt. My little sister and her friends were going to that show and I said I would drive them so they could drink. My sister's BFF replaced a bottle of water with blueberry vodka (against my big sister questions). When I picked them up at the end of the night, her friend was a total wreck and didn't have on shoes. They were so wasted. This guy in the mall parking lot got all judgey with me...and I was like "asshole...I'm sober. They are drunk, but they are not driving."

I guess my Dad was worried about them drinking because he chose that night to drive down our outdoor chairs from an hour away. So, I had to juggle my Dad and my drunk sister and her drunk friends...and moving to a new house.

Fun times.

Yeah, me too. I honestly don’t even remember this because I feel certain I would’ve bought tickets had I known about it. Maybe had a conflict.

was not living in DC that year, but would have liked that virgin fest (never made it to any of them and regret never seeing the police too)
I don't know what I was thinking on the Dolls either, I'm sure they came to SF, but I didn't catch em

for certain I saw Wilco at the Greek in Berkley that summer
man the beasties played there the next night too, missed that

My first year on Facebook, don't even think I had a smartphone yet...so no concert pics

Same... possibly Built to Spill, but I don't think so.

First day of Virgin Fest.  That's it.

In retrospect I wish I'd seen White Stripes. How many original members of the New York Dolls were part of that tour?  Two, max?

I saw Wilco at the Greek in Berkeley as well...but maybe it was a different year...funny thing is that I was gonna get a ticket at the door when someone just gave me a ticket outside saying he couldn't make it.  (EDIT: it was the 2005 show)

was not living in DC that year, but would have liked that virgin fest (never made it to any of them and regret never seeing the police too)
