steakhouses in the district

looking for a place for a good steak in dc proper. i have the suggestions of sam and harry's and the district chophouse. suggest away

My favorite is still Morton's...the Georgetown one is exceptional.

Sam & Harry's is very good as is The Palm across the street.

Shame it has to be DC proper, as Rays The Steaks in Arlington is a fave.

My vote goes to Sam & Harry's.  You can go to a Morton's in any of about 25 cities...

its so nice out today.  i suggest a trip to the grocery store and lighting up the grill.

i know little about local steakhouses because grilling is generally the way to go for me
 
 however this is for a bachelor party and steakhouse is the selection. supposed to be chilly on saturday anyway

oh yeah! or ray's the classics in silver spring.
 
 that place is great too. actually, that might be my favorite.
 
 this has be really excited to grill on my back porch.

Hmmm, well the Morton's on Connecticut and Sam & Harry's on 19th Street are the closest to the M Street strip clubs...   ;)

They have G-Rated strip clubs in the city for prudish, uptight DCists.  You have to travel to MD to see real gash.

I'll never forget the time we had a $50 gift certificate to that place and went there and feasted on $50 worth of sides. They thought we were nuts.
