Not necessarily true. I think the number one concern would be making bands that got the lesser number of entries look bad when, after all, they are helping you out. Even the less popular bands can do more business than 450 on a good night.

It's not the interest that TM makes that bothers me, it is the interest I will lose on my $55 over 6 months. Assuming I can get 5% on a 6 month CD, that is around $3.30 in interest I'd be losing.  Sorry that is a no-go for me.  Just think what I could do with that $3.30.

I saw a few folks say that they got Bartees Strange approval as well.  Having only seen Bartees Strange approved posts, it looks like a show by show trickle approval.
