the hashtag #explosion is trending, in relation to a loud explosion over DC/MD/VA.  apparently windows were rattled around the region, the boom was heard from fairfax to baltimore, etc.

anyone here hear it?

latest unconfirmed explanation is that several fighters were scrambled at supersonic speeds to intercept a non-responsive civilian plane headed towards DC, and the zombie cessna crashed near Staunton, VA before the fighters got there.  so booms heard/felt could have been the plane hitting the ground, or the supersonic boom of the fighters.

If you drew a line halfway between the eastern-most point in VA and the western-most point, it’s to the east of that line.

Staunton is “southwest Virginia”?

If you drew a line halfway between the eastern-most point in VA and the western-most point, it’s to the east of that line.

I have no idea how a plane flying on silent mode could have flown straight through DC restricted airspace. Why didn't they intercept it over Delaware?
