OK, to go back to Space's original question, I have a proper answer.  The song I DETEST that can get stuck in my head is "Informer" by Snow. The "licky boom boom down" line in particular sticks to my brain like a used rotting condom. Ugh. And there it is.

along the lines of BMJ's "terrible" song, what's stuck in my head today is Self's reworking of Gigantic as Titanic

it has a lot of "Hey Jack Hey Jack I'm going to jump off the back" along with "TITANTIC TITANTIC TITANTIC A BIG BIG BOAT"

That's at least funny. Criminal, yes. My guilty pleasure somewhat in that vein (but not quite) is the Smithfits, the mashup band on SoundCloud that does "Still Evill", "SHE in a Coma", and "I Want the Skulls I Can't Have".

Vengaboys - We Like To Party

This is the worst, greatest song of all time. Oh no, it's now in my head . . . must not open Spotify.

Damn, too late.

Damn you I don’t think I’ve ever heard this song in its entirety before today and it’s pure ear candy

Ex,cellent

Some truly, TRULY terrible shit in this thread, but I still maintain I'd rather hear 500 miles and get furious than ever hear a James Taylor song and feel absolutely nothing

When I was 22 I lived in London for the summer. I was once at a dance club and a woman approached me and told me her friend was interested in me and that her friend thought I looked like the Proclaimers.

How was I suppose the respond to that one?

Fortunately, I have never heard of The Vengaboys.  Unfortunately, now I have.

Smashing Pumpkins Bullet With Butterfly Wings and Porno For Pyros Pets aren’t really terrible songs, but it’s about 30 years later (!) and lyrics like ‘Despite all my rage I’m still just a rat in a cage’ and ‘We’ll make great pets’ will pop into my head and mess up my day.

Another one is U2 Stuck in a Moment.  It sounds like it should be a good song but it just doesn’t work and I hate when it gets stuck in my head . . .and I can’t get out of it as it were

I randomly get Christmas songs in my head all year long, but I unironically love Christmas songs, so I never mind.

Usually it's random, out of left field songs...so random I almost have no idea why they pop into my head.  But thanks to this thread and me racking my brain to find a song, it forced that awful 4 Non Blondes song into my brain.  Thanks!

Stopped for some pizza and a beer at Cushwa Brewery after a hike. They are playing this song right now. Ughh
