I guess Mozart really wasn't a genius now, was he?

I guess Apple Music is playing the "any publicity is good publicity" game since people are talking about this #1 Most Preposterous List of All Time list.

But who really is the audience for it? Obviously not those of us responding on this forum, or anyone outside of the Western Hemisphere. Or the African or South American continents. Hell, the list is even less inclusive than the fucking Grammys.

There is no way the VU album cannot be on the list!

Kosmo I would love to see your list….

I hate trying to make any kind of list as I would be constantly adding stuff to it, heck I can't even seem to ever finish up a year end list... I tend to listen to most music in the moment..  as far as a ranked list Fuhgeddaboudit  :D

As my wife often says..."Velvet Underground is one of those terrible bands that music snobs tell you you're supposed to like."

Taking into account the universe of this list, Shania Twain Come on Over should be up there. I’d put it at Number 4, honestly.

Era defining. Every song is a hit. A cohesive whole. Brilliantly (over) produced and  executed. Massive commercial success. Massively influential.  Holds up. The modern Nashville Thriller.

Weak sauce. I already beat you to the definitive Space-Take on this topic. Don’t come in here with this second rate bait.

It’s easy to criticize these lists…I’d like to see someone have the balls to make their own and post it here….

Then we can tear it apart!!

ok fine... i found a list of 75 favorite artists created about 10 years ago and it's still stands up pretty well..  if i don't think to hard about i can bring up to 100 and then pick a favorite ablum for each... no ranking will take place

90% of Kosmo's list will be bands I never heard of.  Just watch.

That's cool. I'd rather have a list that introduces me to new things than one that validates my limited knowledge.
