My prediction is Harris will do better than Trump and it will have zero long term impact on race.

I will have to sit through this as my partner and 14 year old want to watch. Why couldn’t there be a show of some interest somewhere tonight?

There's a new season of Emily and Paris and a bunch of seasons of Gilmore Girls.

Bruh. Nothing the fuck happens this season. The plot of this show has always been (1) ridiculous and (2) extremely secondary to the navel gazing of attractive people in fashionable clothes set amongst sumptuous background scenery, but like literally fuck all happens in season 4.

AND THOSE BANGS. CHRIST!

I made it through season 1 of Emily in Paris but a few episodes into season 2 I just couldn’t take it anymore.

Gilmore Girls isn’t that a show about teenagers? On brand.

I just hope that Harris can answer/rebut in easy to understand language TFGs lies/rantings etc.  i.e. explain what a tariff actually is and who pays it... of course his cult will believe his BS, but maybe some common sense undecideds will be swayed... oh who am I fooling the debate will just get added to his list of grievances

I think the best policy is to act like he isn't even there, don't respond to a single thing he says

I'd bring up IVF, FL abortion 6 week, weed, childcare, sharks and electricity

I'd mention that in the VP house there is a big collection of couches

I’m told Harris was a prosecutor. Tonight I would like to see her 100% prosecutor mode, appealing to a jury. Resonating with a jury. Show don’t tell.

I would say its more a show about a teenager and her Mom but there are, admittedly, other teenagers as secondary and tertiary characters, sure.

You know, I really think we did not give Lily Collins' atrocious bangs enough time to breathe as a topic of conversation. Can we revisit?

But seriously humor and lighthearted jabs and pokes is the way to go for Kamala Harris.

In my opinion.

interesting.  i'm of the opposite opinion: one of the many issues with el cheeto is that he is never rebuked.  he never gets push-back.  so having a woman of color tell him to his face that he's wrong and that he's lying?  potentially priceless.  on a few rare occasions when TFG was faced with some verbal opposition (ex: british journalists who DGAF), he melts down.  t'would be a sight to behold!

Dudeskis it’s all about coming out of it as a nice, normal person. LIKABLE!!!! Is this a person you want to have a relationship with for four years?

This idea she should prosecute the case like in a courtroom is pure insanity. She would come off as a rude bitch and the election would be lost.

Keep it lighthearted, poke the bear and hope he flips out. That’s the play.
