European Vacation (Festival Edition)
« on: October 24, 2024, 08:40:39 am »
Feeling the urge to see virtually any currently active 90s British band then this is the festival for you.    Gotta love the list of tribute bands in the lower left hand corner.

^nice

although I saw there is a band called Maga on that Electric Castle performance
they would crush if they did a tour of small towns in the US

Edit:
Maga (Electronic Music Producer): Maga is a French DJ and producer known for his melodic, organic, and minimalistic electronic music. He has performed globally and is recognized for his hybrid live setups that fuse melodic and minimal sounds with high energy.

Sounds like a perfect fit for MAGA us, especially since the village people are now their house band

I realize this is along the lines of  Hopscotch, but there a bunch of band along the top I be interesting in seeing.  It would appear Jalen has made a bigger splash in the UK than the US.

and yes I'm checking out man/women/chainsaw who are interestingly enough signed to Fat Possum

You'd likely enjoy Panic Shack a female punk band from Wales, I've posted about them here before.

Not a huge shoegaze fan but I enjoy Whitelands.  I recently got tipped off about The Family Battenburg a great new Welsh garage/psych band.

with regards to man/women/chainsaw I'm getting those a young band going for it all not unlike early Sugarcubes.  Definitely getting great teenage art punk vibes, can see why they are showing as a band to watch.
